[origin: CA2963864A1] The invention relates to a continuous method for producing a comb polymer, without organic solvent, by esterification and/or amidification of an acid copolymer or homopolymer, consisting in esterifying and/or amidifying said copolymer/homopolymer by hot reaction in the zone for mixture and transport of a tube reactor, optionally provided with a water elimination system, in the presence of at least one poly(alkylene glycol) in a solid form or in a melted form and an antioxidant, said esterification and/or amidification being carried out at a temperature higher than or equal to 170°C.
