Abstract (en)
[origin: EP3231537A1] The present invention relates to a process for obtaining pure elemental iron which has high metalization ratio from the acid solutions obtained as a result of solublizing the iron-containing materials or surface treatments which are applied to iron-containing materials, particularly to steel materials and flat steel. In preferred embodiments of the invention, the process further comprises recovery of the acid from the waste acid solutions from the pickling processes.
