[origin: JP2017193176A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preheating station which is suitable for receiving and preheating shaping tools for shaping a book cover and suitable for reliably identifying the shaping tools required in the preheating station even in the event of frequent task changes.SOLUTION: A preheating station for shaping tools 8 for shaping a folding region of a book cover extending in a lateral direction is provided, the preheating station including receiving spaces 65 for the shaping tools 8, a heating element 71 arranged in a region of the receiving spaces 65, and a temperature sensor 70 connected to the heating element. The preheating station 64 is provided with a control device 80 connected to the heating element 71 and the temperature sensor 70 or is connected to the control device and has the receiving spaces 65 for the shaping tools 8 for the shaping of the book cover.
