Abstract (en)

[Subject] To provide a compact rough terrain crane in which an exhaust emission control device and an elevating step are laid out in a compact manner without impairing excellent small-radius turning performance. [Solution] The rough terrain crane (10) includes: a lower carrier (11) that has a front axle (14) and a rear axle (15); an exhaust emission control device (30) that has a DOC (31) which is connected to an exhaust pipe (38) extending from a diesel engine (20) and is supplied with exhaust, a DRT (33) disposed downstream of the DOC (31), and an SCR (32) disposed downstream of the DRT (33); and an elevating step (46). The DOC (31), the DRT (33), and the SCR (32) are disposed in parallel on a virtual horizontal plane (45) that is separated from an upper surface (56) of the lower carrier (11) by a predetermined distance. The elevating step (46) is disposed in a gap (47) that is formed between the upper surface (56) of the lower carrier (11) and the exhaust emission control device (30).
