[origin: WO2016102238A1] The invention relates to a strip lighting fixture (10; 10') comprising at least one elongated profiled securing section (11; 11') and an elongated lighting cover (12; 12') which is arranged on the profiled securing section (11; 11'), wherein the lighting cover (12; 12') comprises at least one light emitting surface (15; 15') and at least two latching or clamping means (16, 17; 16', 17') which are arranged on opposing longitudinal sides of the lighting cover (12; 12') and by means of which the lighting cover (12; 12') is captively secured on the profiled securing section (11; 11'). At least two friction regions (13, 14) which are arranged on opposing longitudinal sides of the lighting cover (12; 12') are formed between the lighting cover (12; 12') and the profiled securing section (11; 11'), the friction between the lighting cover (12; 12') and the profiled securing section (11; 11') being increased at the friction regions such that no relative movements between the profiled securing section (11; 11') and the lighting cover (12; 12') due to an operation-induced thermal expansion of the profiled securing section (11; 11') and/or the lighting cover (12; 12') occur in the friction regions (13, 14) .
