Abstract (en)
High pressure fuel pump (10) having a pumping head (18) wherein a compression chamber (22) is defined between the blind end of a bore (28) and the head end (34) of a plunger slidably adjusted in said bore (28). The plunger (26) is provided with an inner chamber (46) in fluid communication with the compression chamber (22) via an opening orifice arranged in the head end (34) of the plunger.
