[origin: WO2016108013A1] The invention relates to a hairstyling device (1) comprising a body (2), a hairstyling mandrel (3), and means (31, 32) for heating the mandrel. The mandrel comprises a proximal ring (7), a distal ring (13) and at least one intermediate ring (8-12). The rings are designed to be positioned contiguously such as to form a roller, or to be positioned at a distance from one another such that hair can be inserted into the spaces (81-87) between the rings. The hairstyling device comprises a device for actuating the rings, designed at least to separate the rings and to bring the rings back together again independently according to the thickness of the hair positioned between the rings.
