[origin: WO2016110625A1] The invention relates primarily to a manual device (10) for fitting sealing plugs for a cylinder block, characterized in that said device (10) comprises: a gripping means (13), an elongate frame (16) provided at one of its ends with a tool (17) that is able to insert said sealing plug into a bore made in said cylinder block and at its other end with a counterweight (20), and a guide system (23) intended to position an axis (X) of said tool (17) along an axis of said bore formed in said cylinder block.
