[origin: WO2016110414A1] The invention relates to a method for producing veneer-layer wood, wherein panels (12) of a veneer are examined for flaws and flaw-free panels are glued, stacked in a plurality of layers, and pressed, wherein, for panels that are not flaw-free, at least if the flaws do not exceed a certain size, the locations of the flaws in the stack are calculated and stored and a stacking sequence in which the panels (12) are stacked is determined in accordance with the stored locations of the flaws in a number of layers of the already stacked panels (12).
