Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016139015A1] The invention relates to a rail vehicle with at least one traction component, which can be cooled by means of a traction cooling system (1), and with an air conditioner, which is provided for air conditioning an interior passenger compartment of the rail vehicle and has an outgoing air channel (9) fluidically connected to the interior passenger compartment and leading out of the rail vehicle, wherein the traction cooling system (1) comprises a heat exchanger (2) at which ambient air (5) drawn in by means of a fan module (3) is guided from an air intake side (6) of the heat exchanger (2) out to an air outlet side (7) of the heat exchanger (2) for cooling the heat exchanger (2), wherein an outlet end (10) of the outgoing air channel (9) of the air conditioner is arranged on the air inlet side (6) of the heat exchanger (2) of the traction cooling system (1) in such a way that the fan module (3) draws in the outgoing air located in the outgoing air channel (9) so that the traction cooling system (1) effects an outgoing air mass flow rate and functions as an outgoing air device.
