[origin: WO2016110305A1] The invention relates to a connector unit (1) for a multipolar connector (7) of a vehicle (2), wherein the connector unit (1) comprises: a connector housing (12), a plurality of electrical pole contacts (20) received in the connector housing (12) for contacting pole contacts of a mating connector, an end cap (14) which is connected to the connector housing (12) and has a cable feed opening (26) for receiving a connection cable (22), which receives a plurality of leads (24; 24a, b, c, d, e), of the vehicle (2), and a fuse receptacle (34) which receives a fuse (36) and is connected to a lead (24a) of the connecting cable (22). According to the invention, the fuse receptacle (34) is received or fixed on the end cap (14), a transparent covering means (39) is releasably attached to an outer face (14b) of the end cap (14), a fuse chamber (29) is defined between the end cap (14) and the covering means (30), and the fuse (36) is received in the fuse chamber (29).
