[origin: WO2016110391A1] The invention relates to a centring and fixing ring (1) for an electric motor (5) for centring and fixing the motor (5) in a housing (7), wherein the motor (5) has a substantially cylindrically-shaped structure, wherein the ring (1) is formed from a strip (2) and can be fastened on an outer surface of the motor (5), such that, in the installed state of the motor, the ring (1) is arranged in a gap (72) occurring between the motor (5) and the housing (7), characterised in that the ring (1) comprises a number of spring elements (3) which are arranged on the strip (2) and which, in the installed state of the motor (5), each exert a substantially radially directed pressure in the housing (7), in order to radially and axially fix the motor (5) in the housing (7).
