Abstract (en)

The invention relates to an arrangement for detecting resource usage in a dispenser, in particular in a washroom dispenser, a dispenser for dispensing a resource, in particular a washroom dispenser, and a method for detecting resource usage in a dispenser, in particular in a washroom dispenser. Further, the invention relates to a system and a method for monitoring resource usage in at least one dispenser, in particular in at least one washroom dispenser. The arrangement comprises a sensor for detecting resource usage having an emitter and a receiver of radiation adapted to detect the absence of resource by receiving via the receiver radiation emitted by the emitter, a counter adapted to count portions of the resource dispensed by the dispenser, and a control unit adapted to adjust counter data depending on a signal received from the sensor for detecting resource usage.
