[origin: WO2016114666A2] The present invention relates to an embankment device comprising an elongated housing, contained in the ground, near and at least substantially parallel to a waterline, with four sidewalls and a bottom, wherein an elongated wall is received, being displaceable upwards and downwards between an inoperational state and an operational state and a powered lifting device arranged for displacing the elongated wall upwards and downwards in the elongated housing. The invention also relates to an assembly for such an embankment device as well as a method for providing such an embankment device.
