[origin: JP2017207479A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of producing a timepiece provided with a raised external element.SOLUTION: A process of producing a part PC provided with an external element EH comprises: providing an electrically conductive substrate having an upper surface and a pattern with a recess formed in the upper surface; depositing an electrically insulating layer into the pattern such that the insulating layer extends as far as the upper surface; depositing a metal layer CM onto the upper surface of the substrate by galvanic growth such that at the end of deposition the metal layer CM partially rests on the insulating layer; dissolving the insulating layer; covering an assembly comprising the substrate and the metal layer CM with a mass VL of a base material of the part PC, so as to allow the mass VL to form an imprint of the assembly; and separating the mass VL and the metal layer CM from the substrate, so as to allow the mass VL to exhibit the external element EH with a shape corresponding to the imprint of the pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1f
