[origin: WO2017202842A1] The invention relates to a crushing device comprising two crushing shafts arranged parallel to one another and having crushing elements arranged thereon, wherein the crushing shafts are preferably rotatable relative to one another in a mechanically synchronized manner, comprising a shaft-side coupling element, which is connected to a respective first end of the shredding shafts, and comprising a housing having a housing-side coupling element, which can be coupled to the shaft-side coupling element. The shredding device according to the invention is characterized by a displacement device, which causes displacement of the shredding shafts for uncoupling the shaft-side coupling element from or coupling the shaft-side coupling element to the housing-side coupling element.
