[origin: US2017341894A1] A method for cutting and connecting two bands end to end and which are at a stop, namely a first band ensuring the feed, and a second replacement band, in an unrolling machine including a cutting and connecting device including two connection assemblies arranged symmetrically with respect to a cutting and connection plane is provided. Utilizing the unrolling machine the method includes preparation of the second band, then immobilization of the bands in the plane, of simultaneous and transverse cutting of the latter, of disengagement of the cut portions not to be connected, and of end-to-end connecting of the cut portions thereof to be connected. A cutting and connecting device and a machine enabling the implementation of the method is also provided.

Abstract (fr)

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de coupe et de raccordement de deux bandes bout à bout et à l'arrêt, à savoir une première bande (2a) assurant l'alimentation et une seconde bande (2b) de remplacement, dans une machine à dérouler comprenant un dispositif de coupe et de raccordement comprenant deux ensembles de raccordement (1a, 1b) disposés symétriquement par rapport à un plan de coupe et de raccordement (P). Il consiste à réaliser, à partir d'un tel dispositif des étapes de préparation de la seconde bande puis des étapes d'immobilisation des bandes dans ledit plan, de coupe simultanée et transversale de ces dernières, de dégagement des parties coupées (20b, 21a) non à raccorder, et de raccordement bout à bout de leurs parties coupées (20a, 21b) à raccorder. Elle a également pour objet un dispositif de coupe et de raccordement et d'une machine permettant la mise en oeuvre dudit procédé.
