In this way, the washing device is improved to make it suitable for use in a clean room. It is proposed that the wash chamber housing and the wash device used for the moving system are installed inside the inner space of the housing; the inner space is connected with an exhaust air duct. The exhaust duct discharges air from the interior space of the outer housing at least during operation of the washing device.
