[origin: WO2016119071A1] The invention relates to a conveying unit (1) for a conveying apparatus (51) for conveying articles (11), wherein the conveying unit (1) contains a main body (2), also contains a conveying mechanism (3) having a bearing element (9), which forms a bearing surface (C) and is intended for accommodating an article (11), further contains a body of inclination (3a), which is connected to the conveying mechanism (3), and additionally contains an inclining mechanism (4) for inclining the body of inclination (3a) and, with it, also the bearing surface (C) in relation to the main body (2) in the direction of a discharging side (A, B) for the purpose of discharging the article (11). The conveying mechanism (3) contains a surround frame (10) which is in one or more parts, at least partially surrounds the bearing surface (C) of the bearing element (9) for the article (11) which is to be conveyed, and can thus secure the article (11) against sliding off from the bearing surface (C), and control elements (12, 13) on the conveying unit (1) can be used, when the body of inclination (3a) is inclined in the direction of the discharging side (A, B), to raise the surround frame (10) above the bearing surface (C) or to lower it beneath the bearing surface (C).
