[origin: WO2016120536A1] The invention mainly relates to an air filter (6) for the intake line of an internal combustion engine, comprising: - a housing (20), - a filtering medium located inside said housing (20), - an air inlet (26) upstream of said filtering medium and an air outlet downstream of said filtering medium, and - a take-off point intended to be connected to a discharge duct, characterised in that said air filter (6) further comprises a device (30) for discharge noise reduction, comprising: - a block of porous foam (34) placed inside a cavity (37) of said air filter (6), said block of foam (34) being intended to be crossed by the compressed air coming from said discharge duct in such a way as to reduce, by absorption, the acoustic energy of the compressed air coming from said discharge duct.
