[origin: WO2016124309A1] A system for the hot stamping of workpieces comprises a furnace installation (8), in which workpieces (4) can be heated to a forming temperature, and a forming installation (12), in which the heated workpieces (4) can undergo forming. By means of a transfer device (10), workpieces (4) can be transferred from the furnace installation (8) to the forming installation (12). The transfer device (10) is arranged in a transfer space (36), which is delimited at least in certain regions by a housing (38) and largely bridges the space between the furnace installation (8) and the forming installation (12). Also provided is a method for the hot stamping of workpieces (4).
