[origin: WO2016124671A1] The invention relates to a method for the automated operation of a drying system having a drying chamber filled at least with an air volume, wherein, in the event of a cold start of the drying system, a control unit adjusts an exhaust volume discharged from the drying chamber by an exhaust fan to a first value, and after reaching this first value, adjusts the exhaust volume discharged from the drying chamber by an exhaust fan to a higher second value in relation to its first value for a flushing time, wherein, after the passing of the flushing time, the control unit adjusts the exhaust volume discharged from the drying chamber by an exhaust fan back to the first value.
