[origin: WO2016124586A1] The invention relates to a method and an arrangement for detecting, analyzing, generating, and optimizing movement processes of individual athletes and their sports equipment. The method and the arrangement can be used for different types of sports. In particular, travel style-specific profiles of skiers when skiing can be generated using the method and the arrangement. Such profiles include for example measurements of the transverse and vertical accelerations and vibrations of the skis, the trajectory of the executed swings, the instantaneous speed and the corresponding speed profile, the application of force to the ski boots at different locations of the foot, and the bending and twisting of the skis by virtue of sensors (1-6). The method is carried out by an app. The app is linked to the corresponding arrangement via an electronic interface (13, 14) and displays the results of the data analysis. The results of the analysis can be displayed on a display. Travel-style optimizations can also be displayed or a comparison between the measured data of different app users in the form of a ranking list can be generated and output. The empirically ascertained travel style-specific product offer allows individualized marketing.
