Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016125055A1] The following relates to roam test systems and methods. By way of illustrative example, in a wireless network, a device under test (DUT) may be connected to an access point (AP). The DUT may switch which AP the DUT is connected to, thereby triggering a roam event. It is desirable to gather large amounts of data related to roam events. In the systems described herein, a plurality of roam events may be triggered to gather such data. Roam events may be triggered by, for example, deactivating all but an active AP of a plurality of APs, or by reducing or increasing a transmit power of an AP or APs, or so forth.
