[origin: WO2016131992A1] The invention relates to a system for generating waves in a pool (1000), said system comprises, in the region of at least one wall of said pool, at least one water intake mouth which is connected to a supply source (4001) by means of a network of pipes (3004), said network of pipes (3004) comprising at least one pump (5003) which is capable of alternately transferring water from the supply source (4001) to the pool (1000) and vice versa, said pump (5003) being controlled so as to generate, in the region of the water intake mouth, an oscillating flow which is alternately oriented towards the pool (1000) and then towards the supply source (4001).
