[origin: WO2016135283A1] The invention relates to a machining tool, which is designed in particular for deburring edges in cavities, such as for example for removing a burr on edges of intersecting bores, and to a method for removing burrs by cutting on an edge extending three-dimensionally on a first end of an inner face of a hollow cylinder, in particular burrs on an edge formed by interpenetrating bores. The machining tool (Z) is suitable in particular for deburring edges (300) in cavities and comprises at least one cutting element (1) having a projecting first cutting blade (10), the cutting edge (14) of which extends between two substantially parallel planes (E1, E2), wherein the first cutting blade (10) has at least a first cutting segment (20) and a second cutting segment (30), which are arranged on the respective end regions (11, 12) of the cutting edge (14). The first cutting segment (20) has a first wedge angle (21) and the second cutting segment (30) has a second wedge angle (31), wherein a minimum of the first wedge angle (21) and of the second wedge angle (31) is in each case less than 88°, and the free surfaces (23, 33) which are formed by the respective wedge angles (21, 31) each face a respective one of the two parallel planes (E1, E2).
