[origin: WO2016134928A1] In order to heat sheet metal parts in heating furnaces, box-type positioning devices, which were susceptible to warping and cracking, have hitherto been used. The positioning devices according to the invention are formed by a single vertically upright wall the top narrow side of which is provided with retaining elements for the sheet metal part and the bottom side of which is provided with receiving elements by means of which it is fastened to retaining rails.
