[origin: WO2016142589A1] The invention relates to a method for inspecting fibres draped by means of a fibre placement machine comprising a fibre placement head, characterised in that it comprises: a) the draping of at least one fibre (41, 42) by means of the placement machine, the detection of at least one reference position of a reference mark (10), and the detection of the real position of an edge of the draped fibre, in both cases the detection being carried out by means of a detection system mounted on the fibre placement machine; b) the comparison of the reference position and the real position; and c) the production of an alert information message depending on the result of said comparison.
