[origin: WO2016139194A1] The invention relates to a radial press having a base structure, a pressing tool received therein, and a drive unit, wherein the pressing tool comprises eight base jaws (1) arranged around one pressing axis (6), which are movable in synch by means of the drive unit radially on the pressing axis (6), toward or away therefrom, in order to close or open the pressing tool, and to each of which one pressing jaw head (2) having a pressing surface (9) can be interchangeably attached. According to the invention, at least four pressing jaw heads (2) are attached to the eight base jaws (1) and, when the pressing tool is closed to the maximum extent, form a hollow chamber (7), delimited around the pressing axis (6) by six even shaping surfaces (8), in the form of a uniform hexagonal prism.
