[origin: WO2016142037A1] The present invention relates to a pivot cradle bearing of an axial piston machine, which provides a particularly low-wear, or even wear-free, pivot cradle bearing by means of hydrostatic load relief in conjunction with a groove introduced in the bearing area of a pivot cradle. In addition, the pivot cradle of an axial piston machine is provided with a groove in a region of the bearing area of the pivot cradle, wherein the cavity formed by the bearing shell and the groove is connected to a high-pressure side of a fluid of the axial piston machine. In this way, it is possible that the pressure prevailing on the high-pressure side is used to hydrostatically relieve the axial pressure acting on the pivot cradle via the axial piston machine.
