[origin: WO2016142410A1] Ported catheter assemblies are disclosed that include a catheter hub (10) having a distal end (14), an interior cavity (13), and a proximal end (12), an injection port (15) extending from the catheter hub and having a lumen (150) communicating with the interior cavity of the catheter hub, a catheter tube (40) extending from the distal end of the catheter hub, and a valve (50) secured in the interior cavity of the catheter hub. The valve includes a port valve (51) and an inlet valve (49) that can be actuated by a male medical implement.
