Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2016142483A1] The invention relates to a method for producing wood chip materials, comprising the following steps: a) providing a first lignocellulose-containing material in the form of wood particles; b) gluing the first lignocellulose-containing material with a composition comprising at least one aminoplast resin and at least one first curing agent, wherein the first curing agent was obtained via hydrothermic and/or mechanical development of a second lignocellulose-containing material, and wherein second lignocellulose-containing material comes from another raw material as the first lignocellulose-containing material; and c) pressing to form a wood chip material. The invention also relates to a wood chip material that can be obtained via said method, and to the use of a hydrothermically and/or mechanically developed lignocellulose-containing material as a curing agent for aminoplast resins in a method for producing a wood chip material.
