[origin: WO2016142070A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a multi-layer value-document substrate having at least one paper strip, which is embedded between two films and has at least one watermark, comprising a) continuously providing a first film web and a second film web by means of extrusion; b) continuously embedding at least one paper strip, which exists in the form of an endless web and has watermarks, between the first film web and the second film web; c) cutting the composited obtained in step b) to size. The invention further relates to a method for producing a multi-layer value-document substrate having at least one paper patch, which is embedded between two films and has at least one watermark.
