Abstract (en)

[origin: CA2973028A1] The invention relates to LED exterior and street lamps. The problem of devising such lamps whose essential components, such as an LED operating chamber (1) and a functional chamber (2), can always have the same design irrespective of the power class of the LEDs being used, is solved in that each of said chambers is made to be separately hermetically sealed and interconnected in a thermally-isolated manner at their narrow end faces (12), said chambers being surrounded by a cooling surface (3) which can be replaced externally on the housing of said chambers (1, 2) and can be adapted in terms of surface area.
