Abstract (en)
The ironing station with several steam flows comprises an iron (40) with a soleplate (1), a supply unit (50) with a water tank (7) and a first evaporation chamber (4) separated from the soleplate and in communication with steam outlet holes (2) of the soleplate, which integrates a second evaporation chamber (14) in communication with steam outlet holes (3) of the soleplate, and heaters heating the soleplate (1) and the first and second evaporation chambers (4, 14). A pump (9) drives water through a main conduit (8) from the receptacle (7) to the first evaporation chamber (4) and an electrically-operated valve (15) controls the water flow of a secondary conduit (12) from a diversion (13) of the main conduit to the second evaporation chamber (14), depending on the opening/closing cycles thereof.
