[origin: WO2016146157A1] The invention relates to spray gun for irrigation purposes, comprising a gun body (12), a spray unit (14) held thereon, a gripping means (18) for a user held on the gun body (12) in a position-variable manner, an inlet (26), an outlet (24) formed by the spray unit (14) and fluidically connected to the inlet (26) via a fluid channel (28), a valve unit (74) and an actuating element (72) arranged on the gripping means (18), which actuating element (72) is operatively connected to the valve unit (74) for selectively releasing the fluid channel (28). In order to provide a spray gun of this type that can be comfortably handled by a user, the present invention proposes that the gripping means (18) can be transferred from a first position to a second position and vice versa relative to the gun body (12), wherein the actuating element (72) can be actuated with the finger by the user gripping the gripping means (18) in the first position and with the palm of the hand in the second position.
