[origin: WO2016146902A1] The present invention concerns a fibre application head, comprising a roller (11) for applying a strip formed from one or more fibres (81, 82) onto an application surface (91), a main guide system (12) for guiding at least one fibre towards said roller, and a heating system (2) suitable for emitting heat radiation towards the strip, just prior to the application thereof, characterised in that the heating system comprises at least one first infrared lamp (3) capable of heating the strip exiting the main guide system, and at least one second infrared lamp (4) capable of heating the surface upstream from the roller, said head further comprising a secondary guide system (5, 6) capable of guiding the strip between the main guide system and the roller while allowing said strip to be heated by the first lamp.
