Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3272662A1] Provided is a bag making and packaging machine having superior workability in film joining work. A bag making and packaging machine (100) is a bag making and packaging machine that uses film (F) having at least one character or a figure printed on its front side (FS), and is equipped with a film roll support unit (10), a conveyance unit (20), a bag making unit (40), and a light emitting component (61). The film roll support unit (10) supports a film roll (FR) in which the film (F) is wound in a roll. The bag making unit (40) processes the film (F) to make bags. The conveyance unit (20) is positioned between the film roll support unit (10) and the bag making unit (40). The conveyance unit (20) feeds the film to the bag making unit (40). The light emitting component (61) illuminates, from the direction of the front side (FS) of the film (F), the film (F) positioned between the film roll support unit (10) and the conveyance unit (20).
