Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016156242A1] The invention relates to a sealing cap (2) for a container (1) for holding a medical liquid comprising a cap body (20), which bounds an interior (200) and has at least one opening (321, 421), and at least one connection device (3, 4), which is arranged on the cap body (20) and to which a conveying device (5, 6) for feeding a medical liquid into the container (1) or for removing a medical liquid from the container (1) can be connected. The connection device (3, 4) has a sealing element (31, 41) arranged on the cap body (20). Said sealing element is arranged at the opening (321, 421) in order to effect closing in a sealing manner and has an outer face (311, 411) facing away from the interior (200), onto which outer face the conveying device (5, 6) can be placed in a placement direction (A) in order to connect the conveying device (5, 6). The at least one connection device (3, 4) has a break-off piece (30, 40), which, in an initial state, is firmly connected to the cap body (20) and covers the outer face (311, 411) of the sealing element (31, 41) in the outward direction. The break-off piece (30, 40) is connected to the cap body (20) by means of a pre-determined breaking point (300, 400). In addition, the sealing element (31, 41) according to the invention is convex on the outer face (411). In this way, a sealing cap is provided which makes it possible to wipe off a sealing element arranged thereon in a simple, reliable manner.
