[origin: WO2016151534A1] The present invention relates to a device for sealing a space between the back edge of a wall and a window or door profile. In contrast to conventional sealing methods, wherein a layer of silicone or a separate finishing profile is used, the device according to the present invention combines a spacer with an L-shaped finishing profile. This combination, together with the specific features of the spacer and the L-shaped finishing profile, ensure that the space between the back edge of a wall and a window or door profile is properly sealed at the front edge of the wall.
