Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2016150812A1] A method for operating a surgical microscope arrangement (10), wherein a real image (13) of a visible operation region (15) of a body (P) to be treated is depicted in a surgical microscope (11), into which a virtual image (14) is superposed, wherein the superposed virtual image (14) is generated by the computer unit (12), in particular on the basis of tomographic volume data of the operation region (15) or volume data in the form of planning or marking data, wherein the virtual image (14) to be superposed is generated taking into account a viewing direction (B) of the surgical microscope (11) onto the operation region (15), wherein, during a surgical intervention, the relative viewing direction (B) between the operation region (15) and the surgical microscope (11) is continuously monitored and the virtual image (14) is calculated again and the newly calculated virtual image (14) is superposed onto the real image, at least in the case of a change in the relative viewing direction (B).
