[origin: WO2016156672A1] The present invention relates to a device (1) for the thermal treatment of an individual or of an animal, comprising at least two bath zones (2.1, 2.2) of which a first bath zone (2.1) contains a first liquid at a temperature T1 and a second bath zone (2.2) contains a second liquid at a temperature T2, with T1 greater than T2. The device is characterized in that the bath zones have flows (F1, F2) passing through them and communicate with one another via an opening (5) that allows contact between the two liquids, and in that the device comprises an injection system (10) for injecting streams (Fa, Fb) of the first and of the second liquid into their respective bath zones (2.1, 2.2), the said streams (Fa, Fb) being situated on either side of the opening (5) and making it possible to keep the flows (F1, F2) separate from one another. Such a device is notably used in the context of hydrotherapy. The device according to the invention applies in particular to the treatment of horses.
