[origin: WO2016155938A1] A device for mixing and distributing fluids for a descending flow catalytic reactor, said device comprising: - a collecting area comprising at least one collecting means; - at least one substantially vertical collecting pipe suitable for receiving a reaction fluid collected by said collecting means and at least one injection means; - a mixing area; - a distribution area comprising a distribution plate supporting a plurality of ducts; characterised in that said mixing area is located at the same level as the distribution area, said mixing and distribution areas being delimited by at least one annular wall comprising at least one lateral passage section suitable for the passage of fluids from said mixing area to said distribution area.
