[origin: WO2016155934A1] In a door handle assembly (3) for a motor vehicle (1), which has a handle carrier (7) which can be mounted on the vehicle, a grip part (4) rotatably mounted on the handle carrier (7) and intended for opening a door (2) or flap of the motor vehicle (1), and a coupling device (6) which is rotatably mounted on the handle carrier (7) and by means of which an actuation of the grip part (4) can be transmitted to a locking arrangement (5) on the vehicle, it is intended to provide a solution which, in a structurally simple manner, makes available a door handle assembly in which the grip part can be mounted simply, quickly and conveniently on the handle carrier. This is achieved in that a joint element (20) pivotably interconnects the coupling device (6) and the grip part (4), wherein the joint element (20) movably supports an actuating means (22) which can be moved by rotation translationally between a mounting position and an operating position, which actuating means, in the operating position, is mounted on the coupling device (6) so as to be pivotable thereto and is in engagement with the grip part (4), and which actuating means, in the mounting position, bears against a blocking surface (31) of the coupling device (6) that blocks a rotation of the actuating means (22), and is out of engagement with the grip part (4).
