Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2016162621A1] The invention relates to a pair of scissors including two scissor portions which are pivotably mounted about an axis. Each of said scissor portions includes a blade (3) extended from an arm (4, 5). The first arm (4) is covered with a casting shaped like an elongate body which is provided with a side opening (8) and can be transversely inserted between two fingers of a hand as far as a support position in the web between these fingers. The second arm (5) has, on the end thereof, a half-ring which forms a cradle (10) for receiving the thumb. The first arm (4) is a bent arm. The side opening (8) of the elastically deformable casting, which extends towards the inside of the casting, forms a sheath, inside which the first arm (4) can be adjustably inserted by means of a sliding movement, and the end of the cradle (10) closest to the first arm (4) is bent towards the inside of the cradle so as to form an abutment (11) for holding the thumb.
