[origin: WO2016166456A1] The subject of the invention is a device for assembling an electronic cigarette (10) comprising a shell (15) containing electrical power supply means and a cartridge (12) that can be detached from the shell (15) of the electronic cigarette. The cartridge comprises at least one pin (14) projecting from the external wall of that end (13) of the cartridge (12) that is intended for assembling the cartridge (12) with the shell (15) of the cigarette, and an assembly ring (11) in which this end (13) becomes inserted, said ring (11) being placed inside the shell (15), at one end thereof, and configured to constitute the female socket of a bayonet assembly mechanism of which the end (13) of the pipe (12) forms the male part. The ring (11) comprises locking means (41, 42) which are configured to keep the pin (14) in a locking position (23) in the absence of user action when the cartridge (12) is being assembled with the shell (13).
