The invention is characterised in that the accessory is arranged so that a main dish supporting plane (303) of the basket, when the basket is supported by the accessory inside the dishwasher and during washing operation of the dishwasher, is inclined in relation to the horizontal (H), and in that the accessory comprises an open structure (116) so as to allow dishing and/or rinsing water from below the accessory to reach dishes arranged in the basket.
