The invention is characterized in that first of all the web of fibrous material (9) is able to be laid on the nonwoven (20) from the first circulating belt (10) and subsequently the fibrous material (9) is transferred onto the successive belt together with the nonwoven (20) for connection or consolidation by means of water jets.
