[origin: WO2016170167A1] The present invention relates to a structure for absorbing and/or dissipating mechanical impacts, comprising: connectors forming a ventilated base having a base surface; and projections, each comprising a central axis along which the projection extends from the ventilated base, the central axis being normal to the base surface, two adjacent projections being connected to one another by a connector. The invention also relates to a body protector at least partially manufactured using the structure and a protective garment comprising at least one such protector.
