[origin: WO2016170243A1] The invention relates to a device (1) comprising: a housing (2) inside which is arranged a winding shaft that extends along a transverse axis (4) and the winding of which is actuated by a spring means; a covering curtain (5) of which one front edge (6) is rigidly connected to said shaft; a guard (7) for stiffening a rear edge (8) of said curtain; two ends (9) nested, respectively, inside each of the side ends (10) of said housing, each of said ends comprising: an interface portion (11) with said housing, said portion forming a ring having a central recess (12) and a first peripheral surface (13) for nesting with one of said ends; a functional portion (14) comprising a base (15) and a rod (16) for rotatably receiving an end of said shaft, said base having a second peripheral surface (17) for nesting within said recess.
